Sensemakers in Residence
The Sensemakers in Residence program is an advanced leadership and content creation role for seasoned Discussion Leaders with more than 6 months of club service under their belt.
Why we built this program
We believe the best teachers are practitioners. We believe new knowledge comes from sharing work early. And we believe community can be a real incubator for meaningful careers. Sensemakers in Residence gives leaders a place to try new ideas, build their voice, and create learning experiences that help the whole club.
Residents design and host small educational experiments inside and outside the club.
These might include, but are not limited to:
- New discussion series
- Practice workshops
- Research projects
- Toolkits, templates, or playbooks
- Books and workbooks
- Interactive games
Residents test ideas with real peers, gather feedback, and reflect on what works and what doesn’t. This is community-powered education in action.
Members get to learn alongside residents, residents get to grow their ideas in a safe, thoughtful environment, and discussion leaders see a path for them to take their leadership to the next level.
